This project aims to restore the Galgekandiya tank to enhance water supply for paddy lands in the Ampara District. It involves constructing an earthen dam, improving existing canals, and constructing access roads. The project intends to increase irrigation, support livelihoods, enhance water security, and reduce drought impacts.
